Diving in the Cenotes

Cavern diving is an activity that can be done by all certified divers who want to enjoy a unique, exciting and safe experience.

Cavern diving is conducted by a guide certified by a recognized agency, with years of experience and knowledge of caves and caverns, both above and underwater.

The dive is limited to a maximum of 4 people per guide, this helps increase the control pf the groups and the safety of our dives, which are always within the limits of natural light. We take environment conservation seriously, following and respecting the high standards and local rules.

Cavern Diving Rules:

  • Always stay within the limits of natural light
  • Continuous line from the surface
  • Maximum depth of 21m or 70 ft , 130ft or 39 m for certified cavern divers .
  • Maximum 4 divers per guide.
  • No restrictions.
  • No decompression.
  • Maximum penetration from the surface of 60m or 200f.

We provide roundtrip transportation from Playa del Carmen. We also provide tanks, weights , drinks (water and soda ) and snacks. We leave Playa del Carmen between 8:00 and 9:00 am heading to the cenotes. Once we get to the cenote, we give a detailed briefing, explaining the rules and standards in the water. We assure the participants will havie a unique and unforgettable experience. Once the dive is finished, we drive you back to Playa del Carmen.
